AEDs On Our Golf Course

An AED (automated external defibrillator) is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It is a sophisticated yet easy-to-use medical device that can analyse the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

Sembawang Country Club has a total of 5 AEDs on our golf course —  2 are roving and located on our marshals’ buggies, 1 is located on the medical evacuation buggy, 1 located at Hole 15 halfway house and another located at Hole 3 halfway house. (See pictures for respective AEDs on our course)

Additionally, there is an AED located within our clubhouse. We have attached a “7 Steps In Using AEDs” poster here, provided by the Singapore Civil Defence Force, for your reference. Anyone can use an AED as it provides step-by-step voice-guided instructions as well as visual instructions on the pad.
