ADOPTION OF CHEQUELESS AND CASHLESS PAYMENTS<\/p>\n<p>With effect from 01 January 2024, the Club will no longer accept cash and cheque payments to reduce risks and operational costs. Prevailing bank charges will be applied to the member if he\/she would like to continue to make cheque payments.<\/p>\n<p>2. INCREASE IN GST RATE FROM 8% TO 9%<\/p>\n<p>This is a reminder that in accordance with the announcement by the Minister of Finance in Budget 2022, the GST rate will be increased from 8% to 9% with effect from 01 Jan 2024. As such, the GST rate for all Club charges will be increased accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>More details on the transitional rules on the GST rate changes can be found on the e-Tax Guide on the IRAS (Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore) website.
