We would like to gently remind members and visitors of the following safety precautions around otters as prescribed by NParks.<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-81cc0b26-b287-4e7c-8c67-2f40c85c2702\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-864a2d3f-b79d-4ebc-a653-25428dc7b01f\">Otters are generally not aggressive, but may bite if they feel threatened or cornered. If encountered, it is recommended to:<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-7d44fa4e-4c14-4877-9461-d290e73561ff\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-15ff0b86-5d2b-463e-ba68-533d59974886\">1. Observing the Otters from a safe distance<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-a7c0d59c-1561-4fac-b463-be62e49ad96a\">2. Do not approach the otters<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-63887373-4684-40f4-8d4a-42878b6770e4\">3. Do not chase, corner or disturb them<\/div><div class=\"ql-block\" data-block-id=\"block-1f992075-9173-4321-9feb-7c90c8e6fadf\">4.
