Update: The Club has received feedback and queries about the addition of Singpass as a 2FA login and would like to take the opportunity to address these questions.

1) Why should I use Singpass? 

The Club is always keen on improving our members experience, including digital touch points. As such, Singpass as a new method of logging in through the secure use of Face ID and/or Touch ID has always been an option that the Club is exploring.

In the recent months, the Club has also noticed that members using SMS login as their 2FA method have been facing increasing difficulty in logging in due to factors that are beyond the Club’s control, such as scam filters implemented by IMDA and telco server issues. To that end, the Club will aim to remove the SMS login as a 2FA method by this year.

2) Will Singpass be the only method of logging in? 

As the intention of implementing Singpass is to firstly provide a secure method of login and reduce the number of external issues not within our control, the Club intends to have more than one method of logging in to keep disruptions minimal at any given time.

3) If I am already using Google Authenticator, do I need to submit my NRIC?

As the Club does not have any intention to remove Google Authenticator as a 2FA login method, you are not required to submit your NRIC. However, if you wish to have the option to use either methods, please refer to the guide on our earlier post on submitting your NRIC.

4) If I am currently using SMS to log in, how do I submit my NRIC or switch to Google Authenticator?
